9.30am: Second blood draw with only a sip of water;

10am: drank 250ml of water and had blood drawn for the third time.

Results:

The three blood rheology tests showed that there was little difference in the blood rheology values between no water and just a sip of water; however, after drinking 250 ml of water, all the values of the blood rheology tests were decreasing significantly.

Comparative experiments show that timely replenishment of water is of great importance to our health.

It has been found that acute myocardial infarction, cerebral thrombosis, hypertension, occlusive atherosclerosis, hyperlipidaemia, and chronic liver and renal diseases are associated with increased blood viscosity.


High blood viscosity is one of the major causes of cerebral infarction. And one of the main reasons for blood viscosity, apart from dyslipidaemia, is lack of water in the body.
