On March 15, 2026, the final review meeting for the 'Paper Award' of the 11th 'Water Purification Technology' Outstanding Paper Series of 'Tian Xing Jian' was successfully held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, marking the successful conclusion of this year's outstanding paper series award event.

After the final review meeting, the expert panel visited the Guimen large-scale water plant and its supporting pipeline network project in Hemei Village, Shengzhou, as well as the expansion project of Fuxi Water Plant in Shengzhou for on-site observation and exchange, to closely witness Shengzhou’s achievements in integrated urban and rural water supply and rural drinking water safety improvement, and to promote the deep integration of academic theory with water management practice.
01Jiexie Water Plant, Guimen Township, Shengzhou City
As one of the core water supply facilities of the Guimen large-scale water plant in Shengzhou City, the Guimen Jiexi Water Plant is an important water project supporting local harmonious village construction and rural common prosperity. The plant covers a total area of 8,149 square meters, with a total building area of 1,170 square meters, and a daily water supply capacity of 3,000 tons. Together with the Nijia Mountain Water Plant, it forms a total daily water supply of 4,500 tons, completely ending the history of Guimen Township relying on 48 separate single-village water stations. The project includes the installation of 125 kilometers of water distribution pipelines and the construction of 12 booster pump stations, which can supply water to an altitude of 550 meters through secondary pressurization, covering all 13 administrative villages and 71 natural villages of Guimen Township, benefiting 22,300 residents. At the same time, it adopts the internationally advanced 'air flotation–ozone–ceramic membrane' ultrafiltration treatment process, ensuring that the turbidity of the water leaving the plant remains stably below 0.05 NTU, far exceeding national drinking water health standards, fundamentally solving the drinking water safety problem for mountain residents.
02Fuxi Water Plant, Shengzhou City
The expansion project of Fuxi Water Plant in Shengzhou City is a core project of the Shengzhou Rural Drinking Water Safety Improvement Project. It was led in design and construction by Zhejiang Tianxingjian Water Co., Ltd., and has been successfully completed and put into operation, achieving a leapfrog upgrade from a backup water plant to a main water supply plant. The water plant takes Bantou Reservoir as its water source, with a designed daily water supply capacity of 15,000 tons. Its service area covers surrounding regions such as Chongren Town, Shihuang Town, and Lushan Subdistrict, benefiting approximately 92,500 people. It effectively improves the regional water supply system and supports the construction of Shengzhou City's "One Water Supply Map" and the integration of urban and rural water supply. The project innovatively applies the process of flotation-sedimentation tank and ceramic membrane ultrafiltration technology. Tianjian Water's independently developed ceramic membrane technology can efficiently handle fluctuations in raw water quality. Even in cases of strong rainfall causing a sudden increase in raw water turbidity, the treated water's turbidity can still be stably controlled below 0.05 NTU. At the same time, the process cleverly utilizes the residual pressure of the raw water, eliminating the need for booster and delivery pumps, greatly reducing overall energy consumption, and establishing a green and low-carbon model for rural homogeneous drinking water projects in Zhejiang Province.
The successful conclusion of the 11th 'Tianxingjian' Excellent Paper Series Award in 'Water Purification Technology' not only recognized a number of outstanding achievements in water research but also built a bridge for communication between academia and practice. In the future, with the continued enhancement of the influence of the journal 'Water Purification Technology' and Tianjian Water's ongoing deepening in technological innovation, it will undoubtedly promote more water research achievements to take root and contribute to the integrated development of urban and rural water supply, as well as make greater contributions to rural common prosperity and ecological civilization construction.The award ceremony for the 11th 'Water in Motion' Outstanding Paper Series in 'Water Purification Technology' will be held at the 6th High-Quality Water Supply Exploration and Practice Seminar and the 2026 Annual Meeting of 'Water Purification Technology' in Haikou (March 29-31), during which award certificates and trophies will be presented.
