On July 19, Zhang Tuqiao, former vice president of Zhejiang University and secretary of the Party Committee of China University of Metrology, relevant teachers from the Institute of Municipal Engineering of Zhejiang University and other leaders visited the site of Zhejiang University's Water Supply and Water Quality Purification Innovation Platform Project to inspect and guide the work.

The innovative water supply and water quality purification platform is built by Tianjian Water.useThe latest globalThe system integrates biological and chemical pretreatment processes, enhanced conventional treatment processes and deep treatment processes. Through the connection between pipelines and the free combination of valve switching, it can complete multiple sets of intermediate tests of the full-process drinking water treatment process.

The system is designed to provide new technical guidance for the actual operation of water plants, optimize treatment processes and improve effluent quality. It is also used for teaching demonstrations to provide students with a more intuitive water plant treatment process and process display. The total treatment scale is 2.5m3/h。

Using the water supply and water quality purification innovation platform, we can clarify the impact of different treatment processes, reagent types, reagent dosage and reagent addition points on the treatment effect. The processes include biological filter, pre-ozone treatment, dosing system, coagulation and sedimentation, filter column (sand filter, carbon filter, ceramsite filter and spare filter), ultrafiltration system, and reverse osmosis system.

Through different process combinations and different reagent additions, the improvement of effluent water quality and the treatment effect are studied, the process combination and the type and dosage of reagents are optimized, and a guiding basis is provided for production.

During the above tests, the water supply and water quality purification innovation platform can be used to understand the treatment effects of different filter media, which is convenient for optimizing the grading of filter media and the backwash process of the filter tank.

The test data results obtained through the above tests can be used to guide the actual production and operation of the water plant.

At the project site, the leaders conducted a detailed inspection of the water supply and water quality purification innovation platform. Zhang Huanli, deputy general manager of Tianjian Water Affairs, gave a detailed introduction to the implementation of the project to President Zhang. President Zhang fully affirmed the deployment of the project and emphasized the platform“Innovation, display, scientific research, and teaching”functional requirements.
